The R&G VOSS MEKP hardener is a versatile hardener for model building paints, specifically developed for the cold curing of cobalt-accelerated polyester resins. With a clear, colorless liquid, this hardener allows for easy and precise mixing, making it ideal for various applications in model making. The use of MEKP hardener in combination with cobalt accelerators ensures uniform and stress-free curing of the resin, enhancing the quality and durability of the final products. However, the exothermic decomposition at higher temperatures and the flash point of approximately 60 °C require careful handling. The MEKP hardener is available in a convenient 100 g bottle with a dosing pipette, allowing for accurate dosing and thus facilitating application.
