The R&G VOSS MEKP hardener is a versatile hardener for model building paints, specifically developed for the cold curing of cobalt-accelerated polyester resins. With a clear, colorless liquid, this hardener allows for easy and precise mixing, making it ideal for various applications in model building. The use of MEKP hardeners in combination with cobalt accelerators ensures a uniform and stress-free curing of the resin, which enhances the quality and durability of the final products. However, the exothermic decomposition at higher temperatures and the flash point of approximately 60 °C require careful handling. The MEKP hardener is available in a convenient 100 g bottle with a dosing pipette, allowing for accurate dosing and thus facilitating application.
