The canvas fabric made of nylon (polyamide 6.6) is incorporated as the final layer into an epoxy or polyester resin laminate. After curing or before bonding the parts, the release fabric is peeled off ("torn off"). It leaves behind a uniformly rough, grease-free, bondable surface.
