Product details
The economical, reliable T3 van was produced from 1979 onwards. The completely newly developed vehicle with its modern, functional design was visibly more spacious than its predecessor. As the last type produced by VW with a rear engine, it was considered the last real van. Depending on the version, its four-cylinder engine offered 50 to 112 hp. As usual, the van appeared in various commercial vehicle versions, but also in the form of a camping bus for private purposes. In particular, the successful version of the Joker from the Gütersloh-based company Westfalia, with which VW had already been cooperating successfully since the 1950s, enjoyed great popularity. The Westfalia Joker was perfectly suited as a multifunctional vehicle for the way to work, for daily use, but also for longer holiday trips. Over 70,000 sold copies of this home on wheels prove its great popularity at home and abroad. Its comfortable living area with integrated driver's cab had a complete kitchen unit, seat and berths, storage cupboards and a practical pop-up roof. Detailed bodywork. Authentic reproduction of the living area with kitchen unit, seats and cupboards. Movable sliding door pop-up roof can be built in two positions. Detailed boxer engine. Movable wheels. Tailgate optionally open or closed. Exterior mirrors. True to original "Joker" decals with international license plates (D, GB, F, NL, CH, A).
