Revell Aqua Color Mix
Product details
In principle, Revell Aqua Color paints can be thinned with water to make them sprayable. However, thinning with Aqua Color Mix has two advantages: Firstly, it delays the drying of the paint: this prevents the paint from drying too quickly in the spray gun and on the substrate. On the other hand, this thinner also optimizes the spraying results on the model. Especially when using matt and silk-matt colour shades, Aqua Color Mix reduces the undesired edge alignment when applying the paint.
Recommended mixing ratio: 3-4 parts paint to 1 part Aqua Color Mix. Since the mixing ratio is highly dependent on the spray gun used and the working pressure of the compressor, it is better to dilute less at first and test the paint. If the spray gun spits or the paint dries too quickly on the model (rough surface), simply thin a little more.
