Plaion Kubo - The brave samurai

Kubo is blessed as the son of a legendary samurai warrior and a goddess with magical powers. However, he still has to learn to master these abilities. In his attempt to unravel the mystery of his fallen father, he accidentally summons the powerful Moon King, who descends to Earth in a fit of rage to seek revenge. Suddenly, the entire village is in danger, and Kubo faces a great challenge: he must gain control of his magical powers and grow into the hero he was born to be.

With magnificent stop-motion films like Tim Burton's "Corpse Bride," "Coraline," and "ParaNorman," the animation studio Laika has thrilled audiences in theaters. In "Kubo – The Brave Samurai," they created a dark, poetic, and magnificently crafted adventure that broke a record. The original five-meter tall and 180-kilogram skeleton is the largest stop-motion puppet in film history.
