Jonathan Green is commissioned by Tsar Peter the Great to survey the eastern part of the vast Russian Empire, embarking on a long journey full of dangers beyond the edge of the known world. Along the way, he makes breathtaking discoveries and faces incredible adventures: he confronts black magic, encounters fantastic beast creatures, a Chinese princess, and the legendary Dragon King, the most powerful of all dragons. Meanwhile, in the Tower of London, a martial arts master and a mysterious man in the iron mask fight for their freedom.
