In the summer of 2010, two teenagers are found drowned in Madrid and Pamplona. All evidence suggests that both cases involve murder and the same perpetrator. Supported by the experienced journalist Luna, Detective Maria Ruiz embarks on a quest for clues that leads to a religious institution. What they find there is deeply disturbing.

The first adaptation of a novel from the Commissioner Ruiz series by Berna Gonzáles Harbour masterfully balances an effective thriller with a gripping true-crime drama. Excellent actors, a mysterious story, and echoes of David Fincher's Zodiac provide thrilling entertainment. The atmospheric police thriller, which boldly addresses abuse within the Catholic Church, was produced by Gerardo Herrero and Mariela Besuievsk.
