Student athlete Dan (Scott Mechlowicz) seems to have it all: he's popular, gets good grades, attracts women, and has a real shot at a gold medal in the Olympics. However, when he tries to escape his nighttime sleep disturbances, he encounters the mysterious gas station attendant Socrates, who possesses incredible abilities. Socrates encourages Dan to reflect on himself and his life, becoming a sort of mentor and guiding him with his philosophy towards success. But a serious accident threatens to end Dan's career. An inspiring story full of wisdom about the power of the human spirit, in the style of "The Fighter" and "Million Dollar Baby," with the spirit of "Karate Kid.".
