Art. Description: 1:35 AB 41 with Bersaglieri Italian Infantry

The armored vehicles of the AB series were developed by Fiat-Ansaldo and used by the reconnaissance units of the Italian "Regio Esercito." After the introduction of the first version, the AB-40, the AB-41 was built, which featured a more powerful engine and was armed with the 20-mm Breda 20/65 gun. Additionally, it is equipped with an 8 mm Breda Mod. 38 coaxial machine gun in the turret.

From a technical perspective, the AB 41 armored vehicle had all-wheel drive with two driver seats, one in the front and one in the back. Its speed of 70 km/h and reliability both on the road and in rough terrain made it valued by crews for routine and advanced reconnaissance missions. The vehicle's protection was ensured by riveted plate armor.

The AB-41 was extensively used by the Regio Esercito on the North African front and indeed on all major fronts of World War II. It was also employed by both Italian and German units after 1943.
