The four friends Hikari, Manaka, Chisaki, and Kaname can live and breathe underwater thanks to something called Ena. However, when their school in the sea closes and they have to attend one on land, they are bullied by the other students. Only the headstrong Tsumugu befriends the newcomers. Together, they plan for the upcoming ship parade, but their classmates keep throwing obstacles in their way. The transition from water to land is also not easy for the four sea dwellers, as they are actually forbidden from forming close relationships with humans.
