My Blind Date with Life

Exams passed, high school diploma in hand, and finally finding the dream job. It sounds logical, but it doesn't go quite that smoothly for the young Saliya (Kostja Ullmann). Saliya is hiding the fact that he is nearly blind. Surprisingly, the bluff actually works, and he gets a position at a luxury hotel in Munich. No one suspects anything about his handicap; only his friend Max (Jacob Matschenz) soon realizes what Saliya is dealing with and helps him navigate even the toughest situations. While the other colleagues finish work, Saliya practices the simplest handshakes until late at night, mastering them "blind." However, when he falls in love with Laura (Anna Maria Mühe) and finds himself in an unexpected situation because of her, everything he has worked for begins to unravel.
