Product details
Repairing instead of throwing away. Kintsugi is a traditional art from Japan. Instead of seeing broken things as lost, the Japanese see quick mishaps as an opportunity to create something unique. The special thing about it: Kintsugi does not conceal the flaws of a repair, but emphasises them by gilding them.
Kintsugi protects the environment, saves money and is also fun. The set contains enough material to repair approx. 4 large plates:
- Quick-drying epoxy adhesive from the EU (food-safe up to 100 degrees Celsius once fully cured)
- Pollutant-free premium colour powder
- Mixing bowls made from recycled palm leaf
- Mixing sticks made from bamboo
- Brushes
- Latex-free gloves
- Storage bag
- Instructions in German, French, Italian, English, Dutch, Portuguese and Spanish
Ideal for ceramic, stoneware and glass crockery. Can also be used on wood, plastic and costume jewellery to make original repairs.
Please note that repaired items should not be washed in the dishwasher or heated in the microwave or oven.
