Product details
Repair instead of throw away. Kintsugi is a traditional art from Japan. Instead of viewing broken items as lost, the Japanese see quick accidents as an opportunity to create something unique. The special aspect of Kintsugi is that it does not hide the flaws of a repair but highlights them through gilding.
Kintsugi is environmentally friendly, saves money, and is also fun. The set includes enough materials to repair approximately 4 large plates:
- Fast-drying epoxy glue from the EU (food-safe up to 100 degrees Celsius after full curing)
- Non-toxic premium color powder
- Mixing bowl made from recycled palm leaf
- Mixing sticks made from bamboo
- Brush
- Latex-free gloves
- Storage bag
- Instructions in German, French, Italian, English, Dutch, Portuguese, and Spanish
Ideal for dishes made of ceramic, stoneware, and glass. It can also be used on wood, plastic, and costume jewelry to create original repairs.
Please note that repaired items should not be washed in the dishwasher or heated in the microwave or oven.
