Miracle of a winter night The Christmas Story

Hundreds of years ago the most beautiful story of all times began: In a small village in Lapland lives the little orphan Nikolas. The villagers have decided that they should raise the boy together, each family looking after the boy for one year. Every Christmas Eve he comes from one family to another. To show his gratitude, Nikolas has made it his business to give farewell presents to the children of his host families and to hand them over on Christmas Eve. Every year one family joins the family. As times get harder, Nikolas has to work for the evil carpenter Iisakki. Nikolas makes a virtue out of necessity and refines his craftsmanship here to create even more beautiful gifts. But when Iisakki Nikolas forbids this, the beautiful gift tradition is endangered.
