Metal Earth - Golden Hind br/br/ De Golden Hind of Hinde was een Engels galjoen dat vooral bekend stond om zijn reis rond de wereld tussen 1577 en 1580, aangevoerd door Sir Francis Drake. Ze was oorspronkelijk bekend als de Pelikaan, maar werd halverwege de reis door Drake omgedoopt in 1578, toen hij zich voorbereidde om de Straat van Magellan binnen te gaan, en noemde het de Gouden Hind als compliment voor zijn beschermheer, Sir Christopher Hatton, wiens wapenwapen een gouden was. hind' (een vrouwelijk hert). Hatton was een van de belangrijkste sponsors van Drake's wereldreis.
