Asterix and the Secret of the Magic Potion (FRA 2018, 85 min., rated 0): We find ourselves in the year 50 BC. All of Gaul is occupied by the Romans... All of Gaul? No! The indomitable people are, of course, resisting at all times! The druid Getafix is concerned about the future of the village and sets out with Asterix and Obelix to find a successor to whom he can entrust the secret of the legendary magic potion. However, the treacherous Demonix is also trying to get hold of the magical formula and does not shy away from making a pact with the Romans. While Asterix and Obelix traverse all of Gaul in search of a worthy druid apprentice, the women must defend the village alone against the Roman soldiers. And the supplies of the magic potion won’t last forever...
