The Volvo 122S was the most popular vehicle produced by Volvo during its production period (1957 - 1970), with a total of 667,791 cars manufactured, even surpassing its predecessor, the PV544, in terms of quality.

Characteristic of the 122S model, which was released in 1958, was the B16 engine, which had a displacement of 1,580 cm³ and was powered by a dual carburetor system, delivering 56 kW (76 hp).

In 1961, the B18 engine variant with a displacement of 1,778 cm³ and 66 kW (90 hp) was introduced. This engine allowed the vehicle to reach a maximum speed of 148 km/h.

The high level of quality was also reflected in the robust body and the two-tone paint job.

The stand model as a kit in 1:8 scale consists of a total of 892 parts, including 127 metal die-cast parts. The model weighs approximately 7,500 g and includes light and sound functions. The hood, doors, and trunk can also be easily opened.
