Product details
The stand model is a replica of the fast boat type S-100 PRM Edition. The characteristic iron deckhouse first appeared with the S-100 model and was a necessary response to the increased air superiority of the Allies and the intensified low-flying attacks. The boats were primarily used to attack Allied ships in the coastal areas of the British Isles, but also for operations in the Mediterranean and the Black Sea, usually under the cover of darkness. From 1943, after a large part of the navy had either been destroyed or decommissioned, these motor torpedo boats were among the few vessels still afloat capable of conducting military operations, exposing them to an increasing number of battles and the resulting losses.
