From the late 1980s to the mid-1990s, the Scania 143M truck represented a benchmark for heavy transport. Manufactured in Södertälje, Sweden, the Scania 143M was one of the most successful models in the three-series lineup. This model followed the innovative two-series from the 1980s and was launched by Scania in 1987. The Scania 143M, particularly the 4x2 version, quickly proved to be the ideal solution for long-distance transport due to its flexible applications and the reliability of the Scandinavian truck. Various engine configurations were installed, including the V8 engine with 500 hp and a 16-speed transmission. Although production has been discontinued for several years, it is still praised by truckers today for its performance on the road and driving comfort.
