Product details
Lamborghini Diablo
The Diablo was produced between 1990 and 2001. During this period, Lamborghini introduced several variations of the Diablo concept, with the first being the Diablo VT (Visco Traction), which featured all-wheel drive. The Diablo was intended to be the worthy successor to the renowned Miura and Countach. This new super sports car was wide, low, and futuristic. Like its predecessors, the Diablo quickly became a favorite among car enthusiasts worldwide. The Diablo models contributed to the legend of Lamborghini and sold well. In these eleven years of evolution, nearly 3,000 units from all series and variations found their buyers. The Lamborghini executives had hoped for a top speed of at least 320 km/h, and the engineers fulfilled this wish: with a top speed of 325 km/h and an acceleration from 0 to 100 in 4.5 seconds, the Diablo secured the pole position in the super sports car segment. It delivered its power through rear-wheel drive and was equipped with a newly developed V12 engine. Four valves per cylinder, computer-controlled multi-point fuel injection, and a displacement of 5.7 liters helped produce a maximum output of 492 horsepower.
