Very few cars have changed the automotive world as much as the Miura. With its rear-mounted, longitudinal V12 engine and the fascinating body designed by Marcello Gandini for Bertone, this two-seater redefined the concept of a sports car. At its debut, the Miura was the fastest production car in the world: with a speed of over 280 km/h and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds, the Lamborghini Miura set new standards in the sports car segment. The original Miura P400 was produced between 1966 and 1968, but the success story did not end there: the Miura was initially developed into the Miura S (1968-1971) with 370 hp and later into the Miura SV (1971-1973), which featured wider fenders and a significantly revised 385 hp engine with separate lubricants for the engine and transmission.
