Product details

The Battle of Austerlitz represents Napoleon's greatest success and is considered a masterpiece of military strategy. Fought on December 2, 1805, near the town of Austerlitz, it is also known as the "Battle of the Three Emperors," as it saw Napoleon's Grande Armée on one side and the allied armies of Tsar Alexander I of Russia and Emperor Francis II of Austria on the other. Following Napoleon's strategic success at Ulm, the Battle of Austerlitz marked the decisive moment of the fighting during the War of the Third Coalition. The battle has taken on a mythical character due to the masterful execution of the Grande Armée's battle plan, which was at the peak of its capabilities. Key moments included the defense of the villages of Tellnitz and Sokolnitz, where fierce fighting took place over the granary and the castle, as well as the assault on the Pratzen Plateau.
