In the Middle Ages, demons are on the loose! Student Kagome doesn't believe in stories from the past—until she is pulled into a well by a mysterious woman on her 15th birthday. Suddenly, she finds herself in medieval Japan and encounters half-demon Inuyasha, who is in quite a tricky situation. It's good for him that Kagome has shown up! On the other hand, it's not so great because the girl seems to be the reincarnation of the priestess Kikyo and carries the Shikon Jewel with her. Inuyasha desperately wants this jewel for himself! When the coveted piece shatters during a demon attack, he must team up with Kagome to collect the shards. Can she really tolerate Inuyasha's big mouth for that long? A whimsical, entertaining journey into the past and a grand adventure.
