Product details

Since 1903, the Swedish company Scania has been developing and manufacturing trucks. Vehicles and engines are developed and produced at the main plant in Södertälje. The Scania LB 141 dates back to 1977 and was designed for the road transport of goods over long distances. In the 1970s and 1980s, it quickly became a celebrity on the road, alongside the heavy-duty truck Volvo F88/F89. The LB series, produced from 1969 to 1980, included three vehicle types: LB 81, LB 111, and LB 141. These trucks quickly established themselves thanks to the performance of 375 horsepower from their turbocharged V8 engines and transmissions with a wide range of applications. The trucks were also manufactured in Brazil, Argentina, the Netherlands, and Iraq. The Scania LB 141 tractor unit was seen in many countries, often paired with a semi-trailer. Special attention was given to a spacious, well-lit, and comfortable driver's cabin, which was equipped with a sleeper.
