Includes glue, brush, and primary colors. The Citroen Fourgon Type H was a delivery van used by many industries and trades. It was also used for the delivery of farm products, and with the trailer, even more products could be transported to customers or to the market in town. The Type H could carry 1200 kg of cargo with a volume of 7.3 m³. It was designed by Pierre Franchiset, who also gave it its name, the "H," as it was the eighth project of its kind developed by Citroën, with "H" being the eighth letter of the alphabet. It was introduced to the public in 1947, and during its long production run (34 years), more than 473,000 units were built. Farmers and many other industries utilized the Citroen HY, as they almost always had something to transport, whether it was wood, paving stones, hedge or lawn clippings, tools, or machinery. The trailer could be towed by small transport vehicles as well as tractors, making it ideal for everyday use. The side-mounted tie-down hooks allowed the load to be secured with ropes or straps. Suitable sideboards and a rear gate transformed the vehicle trailer into a reliable helper in no time.
