The destroyer Z31, launched on May 15, 1941, in Bremen, was commissioned in March 1942. It served in the Norwegian Sea and the Baltic Sea. At the end of the war, it was seized in May 1945 and transferred to Great Britain in December. The latter returned it as war damage to France. Renamed MARCEAU in February 1946, it was reactivated as an escort in the French Navy under the hull number D601. The MARCEAU is offered in this box in its 1947 configuration.
