The Four Temperaments Within Us

The result is a colorful building set with 61 free-form building blocks. The individual blocks resemble animals and various other beings, and by combining different elements, something new is always created that stimulates and inspires the imagination. The predominant temperament determines the specific mood in which one usually finds themselves. It clarifies the way of feeling and experiencing, thinking, and acting or reacting.

The melancholic temperament has a compassionate, rather sad nature. It is blue, turning inward into depth, with edges, curves, and persistence - like its element, earth.

The choleric temperament exhibits active and rather angry traits. It is red, jagged, and sometimes sharp-edged. Its impulsiveness belongs to the element of fire.

The phlegmatic temperament has a sense of stability and comfort. It is green and calm like a pond. Its curves and soft shapes correspond to its element, water.

The sanguine temperament radiates cheerfulness and optimism. It is yellow and shines from within, losing itself in the periphery or into the sky. The airy is its element.

Through playful engagement with the characteristic traits of the temperaments, a sense of their essence can be developed. And every person is a unique mixture of all four temperaments.
