Product details

A widow has an ugly, lazy daughter and a hardworking, beautiful stepdaughter. While the former basks in her laziness, the stepdaughter has to do all the work. When a spool falls into the well, she must jump in to retrieve it. Marie ends up in a meadow. There, she wanders off and arrives at Mother Holle's, where she vigorously shakes the beds every morning to make it snow on Earth. When she wants to return home, she is blessed with gold.
