Eternal Winter - The Forgotten of the Second World War

Christmas 1944: When Soviet soldiers invade a small village in Hungary, all young women of German descent are abducted. They are forced to work under inhumane conditions in a Soviet labor camp, mining coal. Among them is the young mother Irén. She receives support from Rajmund, who shows her how to survive in the camp. While she is determined to return to her little daughter and family, history and fate have other plans: Irén and Rajmund fall in love with each other.

Love in times of war: "Eternal Winter" is the first feature film to pay tribute to the 700,000 Hungarian victims of the Soviet Gulags, whose stories have remained untold for over 70 years.
