Photo-etched template for scribing rectangles. Engraving templates are a valuable aid for accurately self-engraving sheet metal pieces, flaps, hinges, and similar details on models made of polystyrene plastic or resin. The thin sheets can also be applied to slightly curved surfaces of fuselages and wings. To prevent slipping, position the template and secure it with tape on all four sides, then carefully scribe along the desired edges of the template with an engraving needle or another needle.
