This 3D wooden model kit contains 153 parts to build a planetary gear system. After assembling this wooden model, you will have an educational model of a planetary gear for mechanical engineering. The function is vividly demonstrated with the integrated rubber band motor. The model can be assembled without glue. Recommended age: 14 years and up. Number of parts: 153. Model size: 24.7 x 11 x 8 x 20.4 cm. Easy assembly without glue (pliers and a cutter/utility knife are recommended). Contents: Environmentally friendly birch plywood, rubber bands, wax, toothpicks, and a step-by-step assembly guide. Material: Wood, rubber, wax. Tip: The model can be additionally painted with wood colors (not included). However, it is important that the joints are not glued with dried paint. Please note: Assembly requires some manual dexterity, as the delicate components must occasionally be joined with controlled force. If handled too carelessly or roughly, individual parts can be irreparably damaged. As with other model building parts, it is important to carefully review the assembly instructions, use less force, and be patient and precise. The environmentally friendly mechanical models, decorative puzzles, and toys made from renewable birch wood consist of plywood sheets. The respective sheets are created using laser cutting and are sometimes also decorated. The individual parts can be easily separated from the plywood sheets and assembled without the use of adhesives. The mechanical functions are realized with rubber bands (e.g., wind-up motors) or gears, bringing them to life with movement.
