Eco Wood Art Lunchod 1 (Lunar Rover)

This 3D model kit contains 424 wooden parts for building a mechanical replica of a Russian lunar rover. The Lunokhod lunar rover features a rubber motor. The model's wheels are spring-loaded, and it has a rotating antenna as well as an opening mechanism. The beautiful model is also adorned with a laser engraving that indicates the solar panels.

The environmentally friendly mechanical models, decorative puzzles, and toys made from renewable birch wood consist of plywood sheets. The sheets are created using laser cutting and are partially decorated. The individual parts can be easily removed from the plywood sheets and assembled without any adhesives. The mechanical functions are realized with rubber bands (e.g., wind-up motors) or gears, bringing them to life with movement. Those who wish can even paint the objects with wood color for a more personalized touch.
