Product details
The Lim-5 fighter aircraft is a Mikoyan MiG-17F built under Soviet license by the Polish aviation industry. The start of LIM aircraft production at WSK-1 in Mielec marked a significant development in the aviation industry in Poland. The Lim-5 aircraft were equipped with the WK-1F engine, which was also produced under license. The Polish aviation received its first Lim-5 aircraft in 1957. In just over 3 years of production, a total of 477 aircraft were built. The camouflage and markings of the model created by COBI refer to the historical aircraft, which is now a technical monument.
The model airplane LIM-5 (MIG-17F) is designed at a scale of 1:32 and consists of 575 high-quality elements. All markings and inscriptions on the model are prints that do not fade during use. The set features movable elements such as wheels and an opening cockpit, where we can place a sensational figure of a Polish pilot adorned with the emblem of the Polish aviation. The camouflage reproduced from the blocks is particularly beautiful. The set includes a display stand with a plaque bearing the name of the set and the nationality insignia. Thanks to the intuitive instructions with clear symbols, assembly is straightforward. The aircraft is a must-have for all fans of aviation, military, and military technology. It is also a perfect addition to collections related to the Armed Forces, the Cold War, and the Korean War. In this series, COBI has also released the Soviet versions of the LIM-1 aircraft, MIG-15, and the Czechoslovak S-102. The set is fully manufactured in Poland within the European Union.
575 high-quality pieces, produced in the EU by a company with over 20 years of tradition, meets safety standards for children's products and is fully compatible with building blocks from other manufacturers.
