Cobi FLAKPANZER IV WIRBELWIND Executive Edition COBI-2593

Wirbelwind was a German self-propelled anti-aircraft gun used during World War II. It was based on the Panzer IV tank chassis and was armed with a quadruple 2 cm Flakvierling 38 anti-aircraft gun, capable of firing at high speed at aerial targets, thus supporting ground units in air defense. It belonged to a larger family of anti-aircraft vehicles used by the German forces in various combat operations. Production began under difficult wartime conditions in 1944. The exact number of units produced is not known.

The Flakpanzer IV Wirbelwind Executive Edition model consists of 1,195 building blocks and is designed at a scale of 1:28. Unlike the release of the standard Panzer IV tank, we made many design changes in this set. The turret has been replaced with a shielded quadruple anti-aircraft gun. We also added plant camouflage, which looks fantastic in combination with the late-war tank paint scheme. The tank chassis has also undergone slight modifications. The gun can rotate 360 degrees and can also be moved up and down. After removing the turret, you can take a look inside the vehicle. Under the service hatch, there is a buildable engine that is also suitable for display next to the model. The set includes a detailed figure of a Luftwaffe Flak soldier. The whole set is complemented by a black plaque with the name and scale of the set.
