Cobi F4U-4 Corsair / 520 pcs

A fighter aircraft of the US Marine Corps and the US Navy, built between 1942 and 1952. The F4U version 4 was the second major variant of the carrier-based fighter and the last one built during World War II. Compared to its predecessors, the F4U-4 featured a more powerful engine, a new carburetor, and a smaller propeller. The Corsair was significantly superior to most Japanese fighters, as evidenced by its impressive record of over 2000 kills against only 189 losses in the Pacific theater. The aircraft was also very successful as a fighter-bomber against ground targets. The post-war version F4U-6 (AU-1) fulfilled various roles during the Korean War (1950-1953). The model is equipped with movable ailerons, retractable landing gear, a removable canopy, a movable propeller, and folding wings.
