Product details
The Panavia 200 Tornado is a twin-engine, two-seat multirole combat aircraft with variable-sweep wings, designed and developed by the international defense company Panavia Aircraft GmbH based in Munich. Panavia was established on March 26, 1969, through a multinational consortium that currently includes the British BAE Systems plc, the German Airbus Defence & Space, and the Italian Leonardo S.p.A. The new MRCA (Multi-Role Combat Aircraft) was intended for use in both conventional and nuclear air strikes, air reconnaissance, and naval warfare, meeting high requirements such as extreme low-level flight, all-weather capability, high weapon precision, strong self-protection, and day/night operations. The first flight took place on August 14, 1974, with series production starting in 1979 and the equipping of operational units in the UK and Germany following in 1982. Italy and the export customer Saudi Arabia followed later. This model represents the version of the German Air Force, featuring 493 pieces, 2 minifigures, printed blocks, and movable elements. Model dimensions (LxWxH): 36 x 28 x 13 cm.
