Cobi 2627Challenger 2

From a set of COBI building blocks, you can construct a modern, contemporary Challenger 2 tank. This model was introduced into British service in 1998 and is continuously being developed. Tanks of this type are also deployed in Oman and Ukraine. The model, made from interlocking bricks, is scaled at 1:35 and consists of 954 elements. The size of the tank corresponds to the other land vehicles that are part of the Armed Forces collection. Specifically for this model, we have developed a new brick shaped like the very distinctive Challenger tank barrel. Under the service hatch, there is a motor modeled from building blocks. The model includes movable elements such as wheels, tracks, a rotating turret, and a cannon. The hatch in the turret opens, and the included tank figure can be placed inside. The figure comes with two headgear options (a helmet and a beret with a British emblem). The set includes two marking options to choose from, allowing you to build this tank in either the Ukrainian or British version.

Designed by BAE Systems, the Challenger 2 is one of the heaviest and best-armored tanks in the world. Equipped with a 120mm main gun and machine guns, it is capable of effectively destroying both land and air targets. The Challenger 2 is known for its excellent armor protection, making it a difficult target for the enemy. Since its introduction in 1998, the tank has participated in combat operations, including in Iraq and the Balkans, earning a reputation for its reliability and effectiveness on the battlefield. Challenger 2 tanks provided by the British are currently involved in fighting in Ukraine.
