The second part of the early masterpieces contains the four films
"On the Sunny Side" (1919):
Actually, the village of Sunnyside would be a real idyll if it weren't for a tyrannical boss, wild bulls and distinguished townspeople who make life difficult for Charlie.
"Happy Hours" (1919):
A family trip turns out to be a real fiasco: On the boat trip all passengers get seasick and on the return trip Charlie's car gets stuck in the fresh tar.
"The Idle Class" (1921):
Charlie in a splendid double role: as the absent-minded spouse who even forgets to put on his pants, and as the tramp. At a masked ball, there is a lot of entanglement.
"Payday"(1922):
Charlie starts construction. But there is only a pittance for the drudgery and the domineering wife collects it.
