The Bresser Mikrocam II 20 MP 1'' microscope camera is the professional solution for microscopic imaging. This camera features a large 1'' sensor (image area 13.6 x 8.8 mm), which is the largest sensor in the Mikrocam camera range. With this camera, it is possible to document approximately the same field of view as what is seen by the eye. Other models cover only 50% or less of the field of view.

The Sony IMX183 CMOS sensor is highly sensitive and has extremely low image noise, making this camera particularly suitable for contrast methods such as Dark Field or Phase Contrast. Calibration preparation requires mosaic image creation and focus stacking (for greater depth of field). Almost all automatic functions (exposure time, sensitivity, white balance, etc.) can also be manually adjusted.

The mosaic and focus stacking (EDF) functions can be generated directly from the live image. This camera is not designed for the trinocular tube of the Bresser ETD-2010 microscope, as only a small portion of the image field can be used with this microscope.
