Arsène Lupin (Georges Descrières) is a well-mannered, nobleman with a great interest in art. He is a skilled detective, but his main profession is that of a thief and burglar. He is also very good at it, thanks to his exceptional ability to disguise himself. His right-hand man and loyal accomplice Grognard (Yvon Bouchard) and the beautiful Natascha (Marthe Keller) are by his side. In ever-changing disguises, Lupin outwits his perennial foe Guerchard (Roger Carel) from the police and simply cannot be caught. He primarily moves in high society, where he finds his favorite victims. By robbing them, he aims to correct the societal imbalance between the rich and the poor, while simultaneously exposing fraud and corruption among the wealthy. However, he always remains noble and never resorts to violence. Since 1907, the master thief has been causing mischief in novels.
