Alice Kingsleigh (Mia Wasikowska) has spent the last few years following in her father's footsteps and sailing across the seven seas. Back in London, she discovers a magical mirror and returns to the fantastical world of Underland. There, she encounters old friends: the White Rabbit (Michael Sheen), Absolem (Alan Rickman), the Cheshire Cat (Stephen Fry), and of course, the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp), who is no longer himself - he has lost his muchness. To save him, the White Queen (Anne Hathaway) sends Alice on a quest to find the Chronosphere, a metal sphere inside the Great Clock from which all time flows. On her journey into the past, Alice meets friends - and foes - at various stages of her life. It’s a perilous race against time to save the Mad Hatter before his last hour strikes... quite literally!.
