Product details

America during the Civil War. After the family's home is burned down amidst the chaos of war, mother and daughters move to the North and live in a small house in poverty while the father is away fighting. Like in any family, there are beautiful moments, but also difficult times. When the family receives the news that the father is wounded and in the hospital, the mother immediately travels to Washington to be with him, leaving the children to fend for themselves. When one of the daughters suddenly falls seriously ill, the situation becomes critical. However, through love and determination, the family manages to overcome this hurdle as well...
