The Zündapp KS 750 sidecar was used by the German army at numerous fronts during World War II. The project was initiated in 1937 with the goal of producing a vehicle with good off-road capabilities, high reliability, good load capacity, and, above all, ease of maintenance and repair.

Thanks to the 750 cc boxer twin-cylinder engine, which delivers 26 hp, the Zündapp KS 750 could reach a top speed of 95 km/h. The transmission featured four gears with a reduced first gear and a reverse gear. Alongside the BMW R75, it was used for various tasks ranging from transport to reconnaissance, but was soon replaced in the latter role by the Kübelwagen, which offered better protection and was cheaper to produce. It could be armed with a mounted MG34 machine gun in the sidecar.
