Art. Description: 1:32 Panavia "Tornado" ECR
The Tornado project for the construction of a high-performance multirole combat aircraft was a collaboration between Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom. A twin-seat, twin-engine aircraft with variable-sweep wings was developed. The supersonic bomber was designed to "follow" terrain contours at low altitudes. The maximum service ceiling was 15,000 m, with a maximum speed exceeding 2,300 km/h (Mach 2.2). The Tornado IDS (Interdictor-Strike), ideal for attack missions, was developed and operated by the air forces of the three nations. The ECR version (Electronic Combat Reconnaissance) was also developed based on the original version and was used by the Italian and German air forces. The main tasks of the ECR version were suppression of enemy air defenses (SEAD) and reconnaissance missions.
The high-quality kit from Italeri requires assembly by the user. The self-assembly is accompanied by a step-by-step or illustrated assembly guide, which is included in the package. Based on the assembly instructions, the precisely fitting individual parts must be assembled. Painting of the parts can be done according to personal preferences. Tools, glue, and paint are not included in the plastic kit and must be purchased separately.
