Question about Gardena Smart Sensor Control Set

I have a line of sight from the second floor and the reception works fine at a distance of about 20 metres. However, if you have windows with poor thermal insulation or the base station is in the basement or there are reinforced concrete walls in between, the communication radius will be massively reduced.

My sensor is installed 15 m from the base station and works without any problem.
