Well, not exactly. As far as I can tell from the descriptions, bead sprinklers produce a spray, whereas the drip tube just releases (as the name says) small drops that do not spray into the air but seep into the soil directly at the site. One advantage of this method is that the plant leaves do not get wet, which is useful for watering when the sun is shining. But of course the sprinkling principle also has its advantages, especially the more extensive distribution of the water.
