Gardena Water socket

Question about Gardena Water socket

In normal operation, I feed the water from the main tap into a Gardena Pipeline System. At one point in the garden, I would like to be able to draw the water from a water socket to fill a well. If I then empty the fountain with a pump, I would like to feed the water into the pipeline via the same water socket, whereby I would close a shut-off socket in the direction of the main tap. Is that possible? If I were to use the junction box instead of the water socket, it would leak during normal operation (or I would need an additional shut-off device).

That works!
If the main feed is closed, one of the taps can also be used as a feed.
As the pipeline system does not have a non-return valve (which would stop the flow in the opposite direction), the water can flow in both directions (but with a slightly lower flow rate due to the smaller connection cross-section).
We use this method to empty our rainwater barrels in the autumn to channel the water into the pond.

That should work from my point of view. I haven't tried it, but it should be possible to feed water back into the pipes via the water socket. When the hose is plugged into the water socket, the water pipe is opened mechanically. I therefore assume that water can flow in both directions.
