Can I also operate the device with a 4.0 Ah battery (All 18V)?

Yes, it works.
But your battery will have a hard time when the blower is running at full power. In other words, it gets quite warm/hot and the power is therefore reduced after a short time. I use the device with a PROCORE 18V PLUS, 8Ah.
This allows me to utilise the potential of the device without any concerns.

It works, but I wouldn't turn the speed control up all the way. The battery will not last long.
However, it does not have full power and simply does not last long
