Thuja 'Brabant', botanically known as Thuja occidentalis 'Brabant', is a fast-growing, evergreen conifer that is particularly suitable as a hedge plant. It reaches a height of up to 7 metres and has a wild yet dense form, making it ideal for privacy screens and windbreaks.

Its soft, scale-like needles are green all year round and turn a light bronze colour in winter. The plant is extremely hardy and can thrive in many types of soil, but prefers well-drained, humus-rich soil.

Caution: The leaves, fruits and seeds as well as the bark of the thuja contain thujone, which can be toxic if ingested. The consequences are nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and abdominal pain.

Container plants

Our container plants grow in plastic pots and - apart from frost-related restrictions - can be planted all year round. Unlike balled plants, they do not experience transplant shock and continue to grow without interruption if planted correctly.
