The Japanese fan maple 'Dissectum', botanically known as Acer palmatum 'Dissectum', is an elegant garden plant that is particularly ornamental with its very fine, filigree foliage. Its deeply incised leaves give it an airy, almost floating appearance and make it a special eye-catcher.

With a growth height of up to 1.5 metres, it remains compact and is perfect for front gardens, Asian-inspired gardens or container planting on terraces and balconies.

The 'Dissectum' prefers a sunny location and is hardy, so it also thrives in cooler regions. Its true highlight is in autumn, when the fine foliage turns a bright orange and bathes the garden in warm tones.
